I've used Custom Home Sound on two separate projects now and, both times, I've been very pleased with the quality of their work and the professionalism of their crews. I've made the mistake of using some other crews just to try to save a buck and immediately regretted it. Had Custom Home Sound come and redo that work plus the rest of the project. Learned my lesson and will always talk with Cory, Ben and the rest of the crew. They aren't the cheapest ballgame in town, but they clearly care about the quality of their work and, in my opinion, are absolutely worth it.

My relationship with CHS started over 8 years ago after relocating to Charleston from Boston. After interviewing ALL local shops to help set up my home theater, two channel analog and home security the choice was clear after just a few minutes of speaking with John and Chris. Russell and Chris were very helpful and flexible. I am not an audiophile and they understood my needs, recommended speakers that would suit and even discounted a wireless unit that sonos was revising...saving me some cash. After the install, my sons noticed that the sound bar was making a tinny sound. I could not hear it, but every time they watched they mentioned it. I notified Russell. He came at 8 the next morning and solved the simple problem (TV output causing interference). I like the sonos system and plan to expand over time.
